At 100 years old, Ida Keeling set a new world record. She completed the 100-meter dash against competitors 80 and up in 1 minute and 17.33 seconds. Instead of reaching for water or taking a breather after the race, she dropped down and celebrated by doing pushups.
“Your strength is in you. If you’ve got a will, you’ll find a way,” Ida told reporters.
Ida’s strength and resilience proves that if you put your mind, heart and soul—and body into something, you can do it. We can’t help but wonder if Ida’s training regime includes yoga.
