Inspring Video of the Journey from Lawyer to Yogi

Published on July 28, 2014

Born in Japan, Michael Fukumura went from being a government lawyer in Washington, D.C. to a surfing fanatic in San Diego. Shoulder pain led him to take up yoga, and that’s when things “clicked” for him. Fukumura is now a yoga teacher and is featured in this beautifully shot short film exploring how the process of letting go can ultimately lead to positive change and healthier lifestyle.

While this is a wonderful story and video, it is a bit ironic that it is sponsored by a major financial corporation: Charles Schwab. But perhaps we can take it as a reminder that living a more fulfilling and spirt-filled life is available to everyone, even those living in the corporate world.

What big risk do you wish you had the courage to take?
