  4. I just started doing yoga this year, and I love how strong it is making me. I am reading all I can about the practice to learn how to do the moves correctly and to add them into my day whenever I can. I still have so much to learn (especially about the breathing), so this book would be a great help to me.

    Cheers!

  15. I am a full-time yoga teacher. When I began teaching I set a goal for myself to attend at least one workshop every year to continue my yoga education. My classes and private lessons have dropped off quite a bit because of the bad economy. Between that and buying a house last month, I will no be able to attend any workshops this year. Therefore I’m trying to get my education in alternative ways. This book would be a great help in that. Much thanks for your consideration.

  16. I have read Judith’s book “living your yoga” twice already! I also have her “A Year of Living Your Yoga” and have drawn on it’s daily wisdom for themes for classes and daily living. :-) Would love to have anything inspired by Judith…namaste to all…

  17. The only familiarity with yoga I have is what I learned from a PBS broadcast series in Cleveland during the early 70s. It was my introduction to being more aware of my body. I have yet to take yoga in a formal class, but am confounded that I can no longer pur my foot behind my head. Where did all the time go?! At least I have a picture of myself doing it 40 years ago. Blessings and good luck to all of us.

  18. I have been practicing yoga for 4 1/2 years and love yoga so much I became a yoga instructor about 1 1/2 years ago. This would be a wonderful book to add to my collection and share with my students.

  19. I have taken classes with Judith & read her books & would love to be part of her newest teachings.

  20. I have used yoga as theraphy for scoliosis for years. I chose this as my form of treatment when I was told I needed a 360 surgery placing rods in my back. I was in tremendous pain, and almost went with the orthopedic surgeons suggestions. I am an old yogini from the 60’s when I was introduced to Swami Satchidinacha after his famous Woodstock presentation, and tour in the states at a little yoga class in Texas where I believe he was associated with a cardiologist at the time. Well, when I was told I needed surgery to correct the curvature in my spine, and reduce the chronic pain I instinctively knew to use my yoga experiences to start my journey again in finding the way to take back some of the power I could use to heal using yoga. I was especially mindful of the resting postures, was using restorative yoga ,and had heard of Judith’s work, so after reading some of her books, and then applying her knowledge in the field I began to have hope again. I always dream of meeting her, and having the honor of attending a workshop, or class she teaches, but until that happens I continue to use the methods she shares in her books, and spread that knowledge to others in need. I hope to gain more from her new book. She is a talented woman that I look forward to meeting someday in the future. Thank-you, Dee Knight

  21. Judith Lasater is someone I hope to meet one day and learn from. I would welcome her book to add to my “toolbox” of techniques to offer those I teach as well as incorporate into my personal practice. The gift would not go to waste. Iyengar Yoga has been a part of my practice for over 10 years. Restorative is a style I teach regularly in tandem w/ yoga therapy and incorporate into my healing for hormonal, mood and digestive imbalances. I welcome that opp’y to share her gift unconditionally. Shanti. Felicia

  22. I am just starting out with my practice of yoga and need to learn as much as I can. I find that the more I learn, the more I want to learn. Yoga has already started to change my body and my outlook on life. I would welcome the addition of Judith Lasater’s book to my library.

    Thx, marihaf

  23. Judith Lasater rocks! I interviewed her a few years ago, and she was kind, informative, patient, and had great wisdom to share.

I noticed that the NYPL and BPL do not have this book, and it is a bit pricey, so I do hope I win the book!

I am also fascinated by how many people (Including me) have made comments as to why they want to win the book–even though this is a random drawing…

    Om shanthi.

  24. I’ve been practicing for 8 years, but I really only been practicing for about 1 year……In AZ you don’t have to be ‘trained’ or certified to be a Yoga Instructor. Anyone can open a Yoga studio, for 7 of the 8 years I’ve gone to someone that just read a book but doesn’t understand the interwork nor the poses really (I’ve found out the hard way)…..I have now found 2 EXCELLENT Instructors that have taught me so much- I would just love to learn more.

  25. I have been practicing yoga off and on for 30 years and would love to add this book to my collection

  26. Judith Lasater’s work has been so influential in my personal practice and my teaching. I would love to add this title to my library.

  27. Help! I’ve fallen off the yoga mat and need help getting back on! Perhaps this book will help me reestablish my yoga practice. I miss my yoga body!

  28. I’m an avid believer that Yoga Therapy will become as esteemed, if not more revered a practice as chiropractic services. I was introduced to the beauty of yoga through a college PE course and have since returned to my practice through a cancer care center. I receive many gifts through my practice and am striving to become a practitioner. My first attempt at an anatomy course proved a miss; but, determination will assist my second. This book might just be the gateway I’m looking for.

  29. As a practitioner since 1963 I know yoga is a valuable practice.
I intend to take a teachers training course in the next 12 months.
    Thanks for this great resource.

  40. I am fairly new to yoga and I am also a new mother. Yoga has helped me find a peace of mind and calm that I never even knew was possible!
