A.M. Energy DVD by Shiva Rea | |||
|
Shiva Rea continues to produce some of the best yoga DVDs available, both in content and in production. As the title suggests, this DVD is intended as an energizing morning practice, and it contains three 20-minute practices that you can mix together or do separately with the opening meditation and ending shavasana. The first segment, Body Mandala 108, focuses on toning and strengthening the upper body and core.
The next segment, Shakti Flow, starts with some free form movement, and then progresses into standing poses with a focus on lower body, and ends with alternate nostril pranayama. The third segment, Vira Flow, is a variety of balance poses mixed in with a fun and challenging flow of strengthening poses. There are several advanced challenging poses taught, but Shiva Rea always gives options for easier variations of these. Practicing any of these three segments will certainly wake you up, empower your body, mind and spirit, and prepare you for your day. Purchase A.M. Energy by Shiva Rea Video preview: 1 Comments
