Creating a Healthy Back with Pranakriya Yoga
Yoga and physical therapist Marlysa Sullivan’s first instructional yoga Cd uses simple yoga poses to strengthen and lengthen the core muscles of the body. This is a safe and preventative approach to maintaining a healthy back, and the program’s tracks can be individually selected for a more personalized and therapeutic approach to healing back pain.
The instructions are clearly described with detailed cues and the
program is supplemented with color photos of the poses in the Cd
booklet. Cautions and modifications are given for the poses, and many tracks
repeat the poses with the second engagement having further cuing
details. Overall this is a wonderful gentle and slowly paced Cd that not only
helps strengthen and heal the back but will also create a greater
awareness and engagement of the core muscles of the body.
