Total Body Transformation + Weight Loss DVD Print E-mail
This is certainly the best independently produced yoga DVD that I have seen, and it has an impressive amount of content and viewing options to boot.  Sadie Nardini is an up-and-coming yoga teacher based out of NYC who has a wide following for her numerous (currently 148!) YouTube videos.  The DVD has six different 60-90 minute yoga programs to choose from, with a range of focus and intensity.  Overall the sequences are quite challenging and definitely build strength and endurance.

Sadie has a unique blend of sweetness and strength in her teaching style, and approaches the practice passionately and creatively. (You will be using undulating wave movements, “shakti kicks” and “fists of fire” during this practice!) She also gives innovative ways to move into the poses and teaches many creative pose variations to make the yoga sequences unique and engaging. If you are new to yoga you will definitely want to check out the bonus options section where Sadie gives an intro to the practice, explains mula bandha and ujjaii pranayama, and provides an excellent segment on how to modify the poses to your level of ability. This is a value packed DVD that has been skillfully designed and crafted to accommodate and challenge a wide rage of abilities and experience. If you are needing to spice up your yoga practice and challenge yourself, this DVD is for you.

In my 4 years of Yoga I have lost 40 #. I have been the only male in the classes given here in Southaven MS. I have not only lost weight, I am learning to pay more attention to my body. This enables me to know just how far to go before risking injury. I still have lots of work to do, and could certainly use the DVD to further my study of Yoga.

YES, men do, and enjoy Yoga...

Even when I've not lost weight, people think I have because practicing yoga regularly elongates and improves your overall tone!

A month after the death of my mother, I was sitting at the computer and thought I was having a heart attack. I went to the hospital. The following morning my doctor came in and asked me what the H--- was going on with me. Basically it boiled down to I had not dealt with my mother's death and I had an anxiety attack. My doctor told me that I needed to find a way to deal with it. He said that when you suppress things like this, they can affect you physically. That is when I decided to give yoga a try. It is said that good can come out of bad. Well I have to say that I am so gratefull to have found yoga for ALL aspects of my life! There is comfort and solace in yoga. I have found it to be a true blessing! Namaste

Yogic Wisdom
The challenge, and the opportunity, that Yoga presents to us is the possibility of breaking the conditioning cycle. We do this by becoming aware of the depth and pervasiveness of our patterns and, at the same time, by working to change them. And true transformation begins at the moment that we become aware of our actual condition.
