I am looking for a sequence to help strengthen the mid-back after a serious strain injury. Any Suggestions? Thanks

Re:back pain
Check out the "backside blues" sequence on our membership site: http://www.yogabasics.com/members/sequences/back.html

You should also read our article " Yoga with common injuries" at: http://www.yogabasics.com/learn/articles/yoga-with-common-injuries.html

And if this is a serious injury, I would recommend you talk with your doctor or PT before beginning a yoga practice.
Namaste,
Timothy

Yogic Wisdom
There are three classes of devotees. The lowest one says, "God is up there," and he points to heaven. The mediocre devotee says that God dwells in the heart as the "Inner Controller." But the highest devotee says: "God alone has become everything. All things that we perceive are so many forms of God."

Ahimsa, the yogic practice of non violence must be adhered to when engaging in the practice of hatha yoga. Respect your body's limitations and inner wisdom, if something feels wrong or dangerous, please do not do it.
Please consult your health care practitioner before starting a yoga, pranayama or other exercise program.
