Meditating Online
Hello all,

What do yo u think of meditating online? Can this be considered real meditation? A spiritual community called My Inner World (www.myinnerworld.com) provides a meditation space and optional music for people to meditate on the web.

Re:Meditating Online
As far as I can tell, the site you mentioned has nothing to do with meditation. You may want to read our meditation page to understand what meditation is and how to practice it.

Yogic Wisdom
These days, my practice is teaching me to embrace imperfection: to have compassion for all the ways things haven’t turned out as I planned, in my body and in my life – for the ways things keep falling apart, and failing, and breaking down. It’s less about fixing things, and more about learning to be present for exactly what is.

Ahimsa, the yogic practice of non violence must be adhered to when engaging in the practice of hatha yoga. Respect your body's limitations and inner wisdom, if something feels wrong or dangerous, please do not do it.
Please consult your health care practitioner before starting a yoga, pranayama or other exercise program.
