Prone Yoga Poses

Belly down postures build core body strength in the low back and abs. The majority of pone yoga poses are backbends, which are known to energize the body and tonify the kidneys. Prone postures are simple enough for beginners, yet can be very challenging to hold for longer periods.

Yogic Wisdom

The meaning of our self is not to be found in its separateness from God and others, but in the ceaseless realisation of yoga, of union; not on the side of the canvas where it is blank, but on the side where the picture is being painted.
- Rabindranath Tagore
