When I first started teaching yoga, most of the teachers in my training (including myself) were confused and concerned about properly sequencing their classes. No matter how devoted your practice was before you started teaching, suddenly switching roles and being responsible for safe, effective sequences can really be daunting! While some wonder if they can fill each hour of time with something new and valuable, others worry about recreating the flow and magic that hooked them in the first place.
Through my own time and experience as a yoga instructor, I recently created a handy sequencing guide designed to address all these issues. It demonstrates how instructors of all yoga styles can use themes to create safe, effective, and memorable yoga classes. In addition to the guide, there are sample classes to see the sequences in action as well as a section on how to structure plans to take to your class. The cool thing about using plans is that once you've done what you consider to be a good one, you have a record of it and can pull it out on any rainy day when you're pressed for time going into class.
If you're interested in the eYoga Sequencing Guide, for less than ten bucks (with Paypal), you can download the 17-page guide in .pdf form directly from the Shop on my website:

It's my hope that new instructors will become more confident and comfortable in their new instructor shoes, and I think this makes a great supplement to your teacher certification training. If you have the guide, please feel free to post your comments and let me know how helpful it was for you!
Thanks, and Namaste,
