I am a new yoga teacher, and am receiving over 50 years old students. The oesteoporosis back stress fracture has me concerned. Whats the best way to come back up from forward bends?

Thanks for your question. I would advise that when dealing with students with osteoporosis back stress fractures, or osteoporosis in general, that you should avoid teaching them forward bends. Keep their spine straight and increase the length and space in their spine by instructing them in standing postures.
