I had a feeling of stress in my chest. It is a heavy feeling. I did the backbend to stretch my chest, and now the feeling has gone up from my chest to my neck. I am new to yoga and do not understand why, nor know any exercises for my throat. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi brightside,
I'm not very clear about what is happening to you, but if you are looking for a neck exercise you can try the Lion pose.

Hi!
Please check from your physician if you have acidity. Reflux can cause this symptom & it works its way up to the throat. If your throat muscles are weak/lax it gets aggravated. At Aiyana Wellness, where we have a program" Face Yoga Toning" (we work on the 57 muscles of the face)we had a similar experience.

Yogic Wisdom |
I have found that the greatest degree of inner tranquility comes
from the development of love and compassion.
The more we care for the happiness of others,
the greater is our own sense of well-being.
Cultivating a close, warmhearted feeling for others
automatically puts the mind at ease.
It is the ultimate source of success in life.
