| Yoga For Vets
Hi everyone, I am posting here for the first time although I have been visiting this site for years picking up little nuggets of knowledge and inspiration along the way. I am sending out a request to yoga teachers and yoga students about a web site that helps military veterans of past or present wars. Www.yogaforvets.com lists teachers and studios from around the world that agree to offer 4 free classes to anyone who has served in any past or present wars or military conflicts. At the web site, veterans can find a studio or teacher closest to his or her home where they can take the classes. Regardless of your views about war (most common answer; War Bad), everyone seems to agree that letting a vet try yoga is good karma. Teachers please sign up by visiting the web site. Yoga students are encouraged to tell their teachers and studios about www.yogaforvets.com. Thank you in advance for any help or interest and giving me any input, advice or comments on this new project. Om Shanti (Peace) Paul Zipes RYT Founder/Director Yoga For Vets P.S. Timothy Burgin, Founder of Yoga Basics agrees with the idea behind Yoga For Vets so much, he agreed to give a 6 month premium membership to any war veteran. Please spread the word to any vet that you know about www.yogaforvets.com as well as Yoga Basics generous offer.

Yogic Wisdom |
The best things in life are nearest: Breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of right just before you. Then do not grasp at the stars, but do life's plain, common work as it comes, certain that daily duties and daily bread are the sweetest things in life.
