Beginners Series- A good idea
Beginners Series- A good idea
I just started getting interested in Yoga. I didnt really know where to start. I took a normal class and felt a little intimidated cause everything was moving way to fast. My friend recommended talking a beginner series so when I went to a regular class I wouldnt feel so out of place. I live in NYC and searched craigslist and found a bunch. I settled for a place at West 14th Street called Practice Yoga. Anyway it was a great idea cause it was four weeks and they taught me all the basics. I started going to the normal classes now and its great. Anyway I just thought I would pass this info along in case there are you beginners out there like me. I bet you could find them in a lot of cities if you dont live in NY. It is a great thing cause sometimes the other Level 1 classes can be to advanced for those of us who dont know much other than downward dog. lol.
Best Luck to Everyone!

Yogic Wisdom
One of yoga's great gifts to mankind is the discovery of the link that exists between energy, breath, and mind. As you change one, you also change the other two. If you excite one, the other two become excited and, conversely, if you calm one, the other two respond by becoming calm also.
