| SLIPPERY MAT
|
|
|
I was having this problem even with the sticky mat. I found that washing my feet and hands before practice has eliminated the problem. Don't moisturize!

I've also heard that putting your yoga mat in the wash helps enhance the stickiness of not so sticky mats.

Some great new mats on the market that help with this problem. I have a Jade mat and it's like glue!

True! If you spray down your mat when you first purchase it and then on a regular basis, it will stay sticky and you should have less slipage.
I use Shaklee's Basic H cleaner. It's a good eco choice :)

I take a new mat to the bathtub, and wash it with some liquid dish soap, like Dawn, and a rag and that helps a ton.

People should take care of their mat even in moisture!! It will be sticky depends on the quality. Better go for a good mat available online or purchase in a good shop. Also there are different kinds of mat that make your needs.
