Back Pain
Hello,
My name is Deb(orah) and I have severe Chronic Back Injury/Pain. I have been and physically depend on strong medication. I've taken myself off the meds and due to severity of my injuries, its WAY to painful. However, due to a recent conversation with a friend, he suggested Yoga and Acupuncture. Unfortunately, I am 34, on disability now and fear my life begins and will end with this problem. It's not just a physical thing either. I have anxiety and subsequent mood disorders. (they have me on a mood stabilizer now too). SO, I'm looking in the paper here (Binghamton, NY) and there are some classes being offered. A Beginnings, Basic, Power, Hot Yoga Xpress, Vinyasa, Easy Flow and PI-YO Yoga. I have NO IDEA where to go, what type...all I know is I'm feeling helpless, hopeless, even struggling having a relationship with anyone bc they can't deal with this. I need enlightenment in my life again, if it's at all obtainable. I'm reaching at straws here and hope that someone, somewhere, somehow can help me. Thank you sooo much for even taking the time to read this.
Peace-n-Prosperity, Deb

Re:Back Pain
Hi Deb,

It sounds like the Beginnings or Basic class would be the best place for you to start, but you may also want to call the center and tell them your needs and see what they suggest. It will be more important to find the right teacher who is willing to address your needs in class.
Namaste,
Timothy
