Dawn to Dusk: NYC Yoga Time-lapse Video

Published on June 21, 2014

Do you need some inspiration to take your yoga practice outdoors? Are you curious about what it would be like to practice yoga on a rooftop in New York City? If so, check out this fun and inspiring yoga sequence time-lapse video by Cindy Xu. Cindy’s amazing practice includes some creative transitions and yoga pose variations, and is captured on an NYC rooftop in the morning and afternoon with cool switch-back editing effects that add intrigue and style to this five and a half minute video.

Cindy discovered and fell in love with yoga in 2012 after moving from LA to NYC to attend the engineering school at Columbia. She quickly became immersed in the practice because of how it changed both her internal and external life, and she continues to be passionately involved in the community at Strala Yoga.

Cindy’s inspiration behind making her yoga videos:

“I like making videos because it gives me a creative outlet to express myself through my practice, and I also love being able to sync the videos to songs I like. The whole process is very fun and rewarding. My videos, along with my Instagram have also helped me to connect with a lot of people who share the same interests.”
