Published on April 9, 2020

A yogi’s home is a special place to find comfort, peace, and solace in a busy and hectic life. It’s the place where you can fully unwind, be nurtured, and feel protected from all the negative energies of the outside world. The energy and vibe of your home can strongly affect your physical, mental, and emotional bodies. In order to create and cultivate a calm, sattvic and yogic lifestyle, you must mindfully modify your home to remove unwanted energies and to only add objects the promote good vibes. There are many different methods to change and alter the energies of your home, like Fengshui or Vastu, but the quickest and most straightforward technique is to place some crystals and gemstones in strategic areas.

How crystals and gemstones change the energy in your home

Crystals and gemstones are formed from various minerals in conjunction with intense heat and pressure or by water deposits and evaporation. They carry the specific energies of what and how they were formed and work by channeling positive energies outwards, or they can act as a magnet for negative energies. As each type of stone or crystal has a unique energy signature, you can select gems based on their energy and place them in the room where you want this energy to emanate. Thus using different crystals, you can change the energy of different spaces inside your home. Larger crystals can be displayed as a room accent, and smaller gems can be placed in less obvious places. The size and the number of stones used will obviously affect the amount of energetic changes they make to your home.

You are also encouraged to play around with the type, number, and specific ways you incorporate crystals in your home.
