Yoga as Therapy

With an emphasis on anatomy and working with students to treat and manage specific health issues, yoga therapy is on the rise. Yoga therapy is the therapeutic application of yoga science and art that can be used in sports, dance, physical and occupational therapy, and rehabilitation. Yoga therapy can be used specifically to ease upper back pain or to regulate blood pressure. Or it can be used on a broader spectrum as a tool for things like addiction recovery and eating disorders.
