Standing Yoga Poses

These postures are performed in a standing position and can be more challenging for beginners. Standing poses help to improve balance and mental focus as well as building strength and flexibility in the body.

Supine Yoga Poses

These postures that are done while lying on the back, and most are accessible for beginner students. Supine poses are beneficial for stretching and relaxing the muscles of the lower back, hips, and legs.

Prone Yoga Poses

These are practiced by lying on the belly or with the abdomen close to the floor.  Prone poses help to strengthen the back muscles, improve posture, open the heart and chest, and stretch the spine and hips.

Seated Yoga Poses

These postures are performed while sitting down in a position on the floor. Seated poses can be practiced by yogis of all levels and are great for increasing flexibility and building strength in the legs, hips, and spine.
