| Shitali Pranayama |

|
The cooling breath cools the body and calms the mind.
Roll the tongue into a tube (as best as you can) and stick the tip of the tongue out of the mouth. Inhale through the tongue and hold the breath in for 4-5 seconds with the chin pressed against the chest. Exhale using Ujjayi Pranayama through the nose. Repeat 5-10 times. ContraindicationUse this pranayama only if there is obvious excess heat in the body. Do not use if the body feels cold, and practice with caution in wintertime.Audio (Premium Members Only)Please login as a Premium Member to have access to this content0 Comments

Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; for it becomes your destiny. Upanishads |
