The cooling breath cools the body and calms the mind.
Roll the tongue into a tube (as best as you can) and stick the tip of the tongue out of the mouth. Inhale through the tongue and hold the breath in for 4-5 seconds with the chin pressed against the chest. Exhale using Ujjayi Pranayama through the nose. Repeat 5-10 times. ContraindicationUse this pranayama only if there is obvious excess heat in the body. Do not use if the body feels cold, and practice with caution in wintertime.Audio (Premium Members Only)Please login as a Premium Member to have access to this content 0 Comments

I have found that the greatest degree of inner tranquility comes from the development of love and compassion. The more we care for the happiness of others, the greater is our own sense of well being. Cultivating a close warm hearted feeling for others automatically puts the mind at ease. It is the ultimate source of success in life. Dalai Lama |
