Yoga Time-Lapse Video To Ignite Freedom

Published on
May 1, 2014

Who says you need to practice yoga on a mat? Raquel Cohen certainly doesn’t, and she has a blast playing around in between yoga classes in this inspiring time-lapse video. She explores the open space through this playful sequence by incorporating crawling and spinning around to move from spot to spot. There are some fun and sweet transitions in Cohen’s sequence as well as a few cool subtle edits that make this stand out from other yoga time-lapse videos. She designed this flow to “ignite freedom” which she gracefully and skillfully embodies here.

Cohen started practicing yoga in high school and currently works at Strala Yoga in NYC. She has recently completed her 200 hr teaching training and draws inspiration from Tara Stiles, Heidi Kristoffer, Jes Allen and Meghan Currie.
